"Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one." ~Ephesians 6:16

Philosophy of Education

Christian Victory Academy’s Philosophy of Education is based on our belief that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God and from it springs all truth concerning life. We believe that every child is a unique creation of God, has unique needs, and requires a safe, caring, stimulating environment that promotes emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual growth. Three main objectives drive our philosophy: (1) to ensure that all students meet their full potential, (2) to help all students develop a true love of learning, and (3) to foster a Christ-centered life, both in theory and in practice, that is fortified by Biblical teachings and experiential opportunities. In order to implement this philosophy, Christian Victory Academy has established the following goals:

- To promote authentic leadership from both teachers and administrative staff. (Proverbs 11:14 – Where there is no guidance, the people fall, but in abundance of counselors, there is victory.)

- To provide consistent communication to parents through prompt delivery of grades, email, and verbal communication, and encourage opportunities for communication from parents. (Colossians 4:6 – Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.)

- To demonstrate genuine care and concern for students and their families through acts of kindness, nurture, and support. (Galatians 6:2 – Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.)

- To supply flexible, hands-on learning options, a challenging curriculum, and a variety of instructional approaches to accommodate various learning styles and provide students with a high standard of education. (Colossians 3:23 – Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.)

- To provide opportunities that reinforce Biblical principles in both academic and practical ways and that equip students with the tools necessary to spread the Gospel in their communities and beyond. (Titus 3:14 – Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.)

- To furnish a safe learning environment that is reinforced by effective security measures, staff and teacher training, and periodic reviews of current safety practices. (Proverbs 10:25 – When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous have an everlasting foundation.) - To establish an atmosphere that encourages respect and fosters each student’s self-esteem and growth. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up…)

We believe that all students can learn, and we are committed to principles that will assist us in producing confident, accomplished, independent, and God-focused graduates that will impact the world for Christ.
