Homeschool Program

Annual Family Application Fee (due at the time of application) $200.00/yr
After the 3rd child, the Annual Registration Fee is half price.
Annual Registration Fee for grades K $200.00/yr
Annual Registration Fee for grades 1 – 8 $300.00/yr
Annual Registration Fee for grades 9 – 11 $400.00/yr
Annual Registration Fee for Graduates

$500.00/yr

Example 1: I have two children: 2nd and 9th grade. I only want to homeschool. I need to pay $200 for the annual family application fee, plus $300 to register my 2nd grader, and $400 for my 9th grader.
Total for the year: $900.00

Example 2: I have five children: kindergarten, 3rd grade, 5th grade, 9th grade, and a graduating senior. I only want to homeschool. I need to pay $200 for the annual family application fee, plus $500 to register my graduate, $400 for my 9th grader, and $300 for my 5th grader. My 3rd grader and kindergartner are half price.
Total for the year: $1,650.00

Example 3: Mix and Match: I have an 8th grader, and would like him to take Bible and Spanish on-line, but he needs to be in a classroom with a teacher for English and Math, and I can teach Science and History at home. Here’s what I need to pay:

Family Application fee: $200
Tuition for my 8th grader: $300
Registration for two on-line courses and two on-campus classes: $240
Two on-line courses and two on-campus classes: $1600
On-campus book fee for two classes: $75
My student will be on-campus, so he needs 2 CVA uniform shirts: $30
He’ll also want a year book (not required): $35

Alright, my total for my personal mix and match is $2,480 for the year.


Benefits of homeschooling with CVA:

- CVA is fully accredited and registered as a Private School.

- CVA homeschoolers are considered Private School Students

- According to Bright Futures Scholarship Program, students who have attended a home education program (such as homeschooling through the county) during grades 11 and 12 require higher SAT/ACT scores than public or private school students.

- Unlike homeschooling through the county, CVA offers a legal high school diploma.
