SAT10

The Stanford 10 Achievement Test is required annually for students in 3rd through 11th grade. If your student is not required to test, but would like to, they may do so upon written request and payment of a $65 fee. Individual testing is available for an additional fee by apointment only.

SAT10 Week Schedule


All students will be picked up by 2 p.m. ever day this week.

  1. Monday, March 22nd

    • K - 2nd grade classes continue as normal.

    • Full Time (5-day) on-campus students will have a guided study and test prep day.

  2. Tuesday, March 23rd

    • SAT10 Testing: 3rd - 8th Grade (Day 1 of 2) 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

    • K - 2nd grade classes continue as normal.

    • Full Time (5-day) on-campus students will have a guided study and test prep day.

  3. Wednesday, March 24th

    • SAT10 Testing: 9th - 11th Grade (Day 1 of 2) 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

    • K - 2nd grade classes continue as normal.

    • Full Time (5-day) on-campus students will have a guided study and test prep day.

    • Full Time (5 day) students taking the SAT10 this day will join the other students in guided study until 2 p.m.

  4. Thursday, March 25th

    • SAT10 Testing: 9th - 11th Grade (Day 2 of 2) 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

    • K - 2nd grade classes continue as normal.

    • Full Time (5-day) on-campus students will have a guided study and test prep day.

    • Full Time (5 day) students taking the SAT10 this day will join the other students in guided study until 2 p.m.

  5. Friday, March 26th

    • SAT10 Testing: 3rd - 8th Grade (Day 2 of 2) 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

    • K - 2nd grade classes continue as normal.

    • Full Time (5-day) on-campus students will have a guided study and test prep day.


Hybrid student (2 or 3 days per week on campus) student classes are cancelled for SAT10 Week. Hybrid students will take the SAT10 on their scheduled day based on their grade (see above) and can leave when the test is over (see above) to complete their SAT10 Week assignments at home.


Non-CVA students may take the SAT10 with CVA for a fee of $65 per student. Non-CVA students must register for the SAT10 no later than February 22nd. A student is not considered registered for the SAT10 until they have completed any required paperwork and CVA has received their $65 payment in full. To register for the SAT10 call 407-281-6244.

PSAT

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives students a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.


This test is open to the public.
Registration must be made by August 31th.

*Pre-administration Day: October 7, 2020 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PSAT: October 14, 2020 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

SAT® & ACT®

The SAT and ACT are standardized tests used for college admissions. CVA recommends students take these tests after completing Algebra II. Seniors are required to take either the SAT® or ACT® before December and meet minimum score requirements.
